I love to ride, talk and eat with friends. First touring bike experience while living in the Australian outback (1991). Rode friends' BMW 90 and 1000 RS bikes. Came back to the states and in 1993 picked up an '83 Goldwing 1100 Interstate and rode for 12 years. Bought my current bike, '98 Harley Road King Classic. Most miles in southern California including rides with SCRC chapter 120. My best ride was on a rented Harley Road King in the Tuscany countryside. WOW. My biggest rally to-date, Daytona. Going to Sturgis for the 75th anniversary (2015). Clocked over 50,000 miles during these 20+ years, so not a novice and not an iron butt. I am nearly retired and do management consulting work for US Government and major corporations. I am married to a trauma nurse so she doesn't ride; but, she has developed a respect for cruising / touring riders. Let's ride!
